Zion I have remained a consistent force in hip-hop since they broke onto the scene with a progressive style of hip-hop on their debut, Mind Over Matter, in 2000. Over the years Zion I have kept every one of their new albums different than the previous, with Shadowboxing the same can be said with its heavy electronic influence. In the current climate of 2012, electronic music reigns supreme, so to hear Amplive take the album in this direction is no surprise. If you were disappointed with their last album (Atomic Clock), Shadowboxing will make up for it. One quick listen to "Human Being" will show you that Zumbi & Amplive are back with this new album to kick it up a few more levels. The beat provided by Amplive on this one is un-be-lieve-able.
