ZHU literally began his career as a no-name when he anonymously released his first piece of music, "Moves Like Ms Jackson", on Youtube. However, once he revealed his name and started dropping off more songs, we all started to realize that he's much, much more than just a one-time act. His debut EP, The Nightday, contained track after track of dark, shadowy house coupled with his own smooth falsetto, and the aggregate result was one of the best dance projects in years. Now, with a Grammy nomination for "Faded" under his belt, the mysterious artist is ready to take over the music world again, and he's kicking off that quest with a brand-new single in "Automatic". With some assistance from AlunaGeorge, ZHU manages to successfully progress his sound here, and the surefire hit he's provided us—a part of his forthcoming Genesis Series project that will feature a handful of other big-name musicians—should have pretty much everyone excited for the new body of work.
