An incredible vocal performance from an artist can take a song from good-sounding, to great-sounding, to something even better-sounding than that. Take Zella Day's on "Sacrifice", her contribution to the new Insurgent soundtrack, for example. It's one absolutely powerful, and you can just about feel her soul unleashing itself on the track.
