If there could be a criminal offence for not knowing about an artist, it would be given out to people who didn't not know about Young Summer. Extreme yes, but when your ears touch down into the heavenly, "Waves That Rolled You Under", all sideways faces turn to smiles of exhilaration when the realization of how absolutely gorgeous this song is. The vocals of Young Summer aka Bobbie Allen are so magnificent, you have to wonder if the recipe for her voice is the result of selling her soul to the devil to receive the voice of the Say Lou Lou sisters, Lana Del Rey and BANKS all rolled into one. Crazy yes, but all plausible once you hear it for yourself. Upon hearing this song, heading on over to grab her debut EP, Fever Dream, will be compulsory -- so be warned and make sure your $ is right because owning this is necessary.
