Signals of a strong rework include an original track's beauty being kept, and also a reluctance for the new track to be swallowed by too much distortion. Buzzing producer Super Duper seems to have these characteristics in mind, and having noticeably crisped up Young Summer's dream-pop tune, "Sons of Lightning", with big, commanding synths and all sorts of warm and triumphant vibes, we're gifted with a remix that doesn't try too hard to get its point across. Perhaps this should come as no surprise, as previous effort "Angela" exemplified the vast skill Super Duper has, but if he can continue to hone his increasingly euphonic sound in authentic, genre-bending ways like this, we're going to be more than satisfied with his output in times ahead.
