Well, here we are again with another Young Summer track to cover. The ever-growing artist has given off a couple of releases in quick succession over the past month or so, and each have been absolutely stellar. Today, she's a new track in "Leave Your Love", and not only does it expound on the synth-pop sounds she's been cultivating in songs like "Taken" and "Siren", but it might also have the type of wow factor that propelled her breakout hit "Waves That Rolled You Under" when it rocketed to the forefront of the blogosphere's collective consciousness, pulling hundreds of thousands of hits in a very short amount of time. We've found similarly stellar music recently, mind you, but as far as the pop section of our catalog goes, it's quite obvious that Young Summer has been working her way to the tip-top with her silky-smooth vocals and refined production work. As we've alluded to above, "Leave Your Love" is no mere filler track in the lead-up to her new album out August 26th, and it's clear, too, that she's put this one out to further define who she is as an artist to both the fans and critics alike. To be sure, when that album does finally come out, Summer's going to have a fanbase and a musical foundation to the envy of pretty much every other up-and-coming pop artist out there. "Leave Your Love" from it is all sorts of cool, and it's going to help vault her further to the front of every pop aficionado out there, unquestionably. Siren will be released on August 26th with pre-orders starting on August 12th.
