For most, this quick rise to prominence would be shocking, but those who were privy to what Nick Van Hofwegen created on his debut (prior to its release), knew it was simply a matter of getting the music out there in order for success to follow naturally behind. Before becoming the brainchild of Young & Sick, Nick Van Hofwegen was making his way creating the album art for the likes of Foster The People, Mikky Ekko, Robin Thicke, and Maroon 5. Now transferring that same creative flair to his own project, Nick sees the two shades of artistic grey come together on his impressive debut. And where most go straight musically, Nick goes off in a tangent that moves in no particular direction or assumed path.
