Young Hare is a German duo under the watch of record label and booking and promotion agency Altin Village & Mine, and their recently released EP under the umbrella is one ripe with unconventional electronic textures and soulful vocals to boot. They blend unusually on the project, the elements do, but they do so beautifully, and among the three cuts comprising the body of work, we've decided to bring to light "Nylon Nights", the middle one that happens to be our favorite. The six-minute affair starts slowly paced, but not without a stark kind of intrigue to pull you in. Soft, far-gone synth swells initiate the piece, and shortly thereafter, we're privy to equally delicate, soul-soaked vocals that dance in perfect harmony with the instrumentation existing behind them. For minutes this artistic duo tangos, and pinches of reverb, swirling synth melodies, and other surprising, stunning style switch-ups mark the remaining time as one especially dynamic and interest-inducing. You will be hard-pressed not to find something to love about this work, and because of it's longer-than-normal runtime, you'll be able to revel ever-comfortably within it.
