If Young Clancy's Yung Prince of the Basement EP was the result of long hours in his basement, then his new song, "Slo Mo", is at least partially the result of leaving his house to explore the world. Shot in Japan, the video for Clancy's track is endearingly weird in its depiction of Clancy's Lost in the Translation-esque search for meaning in the oft-misunderstood nation, and, as for the song itself, "Slo Mo" continues the singer's work at the intersection of hip-hop, R&B, and electronic, as he addresses his lover directly with a bevy of feelings and requests.
