Music with electronic instrumentation is easily dominating as of late, and while some of the most creative sounds derive from it, it is good to return to some more orthodox-leaning sounds. Brooklyn-based YOKE LORE is pushing some forward, and, although what's presented isn't new or flashy, it's something many can relate to. His track here, "Snowday", is the one that resonates with us the most from his debut EP, Far Shore, and its soft-spoken, guitar-ladened progression and crisp bass are what give it its appeal.
