Yellow Days — Outro (Slowly Baked In The Sunshine)

Yellow Days

Outro (Slowly Baked In The Sunshine)

There's music out that's difficult to enjoy upon first listen, but sometimes that just means that it's stark and/or sophisticated enough to warrant a closer look. Yellow Days, a UK-based act churning out top-notch cuts that may be a little hard to digest the first time around, is out with an EP entitled Harmless Memories, and it's a great one to get used to the rough-around-the-edges aesthetics he likes to throw around in his songs. A near-perfect combination of what seems to be King Krule's crooning vocals and the iconic, colorful production of Tame Impala, Yellow Days does seem to possess a surprisingly unique and emotional vibe. Soulful at times, the body of work is like an adventurous roller coaster ride, borrowing inspiration from several outlets that ultimately fuse together effortlessly. From the body of work, we previously covered tracks "My Own Way", "Your Hand Holding Mine", and "Gap In the Clouds", but there are a slew of other cuts in the project that we love. Although we recommend you check out the EP in full, new highlights "A Little While" and "People" are available to stream below and on Spotify now, and we suggest you get to them now.
