We've covered Years & Years and French producer Fakear several times on the site, and today, the latter artist injects his wavy electronic on a track by the trio entitled "Meteorite". Fakear is rather deft with his approach here, keeping the melodies intact and adding an electronic nuance that completely lifts the original's tone. Saw-waved synths, glitched drums and layered percussion provide an uplifting sound throughout, making it a revamp that should have electronic lovers immersed. Fakear has been opening for Porter Robinson and Madeon on their Shelter Live tour, and it stands to reason that he'll have some more new material ahead as his momentum continues to build.
