If you keenly follow dance or electronic music, you've probably seen Yaeji's name before (her rework of Drake's "Passionfruit" was especially popular). Splitting her time between New York and Seoul, Yaeji embraces her unique influences in her music, which is usually deep house-leaning. Though her previous work has been a bit outside our taste, she's just released a new track, "Last Breath", that we can definitely get behind, and, as such, we're featuring it right here. Though we are generally less excited about anything labeled "deep house" than we used to be, there is no denying that "Last Breath" is one of the most fun, unique, and exciting singles we have heard in the genre in quite some time. Here, Yaeji speaks Korean on energetic percussion and seriously groovy synths, and, because the combination is a winning one, we urge you to listen to it below.
