XXANAXX has been percolating in Poland for some time now, so if you've yet to get yourself into their music, we've their latest track, "Give U The World", to get you situated properly. The act's a pop sound that's instantly comparable to AlunaGeorge's on the track, but don't mistake Klaudia Szafrańska and Michal 'Lance Flare' Wasilewsk as just another carbon copy, because if you've listened at all to their past matieral, you'd know that they've definitely their own defined sound. That being said, we think "Give U The World" is their most accessible and pop-sensible track to date, and of course, we've an idea that the tropical-sounding melodies within might have something to do with that fact. Since the Polish twosome just released an album back in April, "Give U The World" is not leading off a forthcoming EP or album. Instead, it's lifted from the unreleased and Flirtini-curated Heartbreaks & Promises Vol. 2 project that collects music from Polish producers and artists. Don't sleep on Poland, guys.
