Traumatic experiences leave everlasting effects on anyone who is ever experienced these unfortunate things — It's how you deal with it that really dictates whether you end up turning it into a positive or letting it ruin you. For XOC being the victim of racial abuse growing up in Sweden, this experience has ingnited a spark in him that is not only being channeled into his activism but also his music. "Ku Klux Klan" is a powerful song that hopes to expose what XOV feels is the biggest problem with racism today. In his words (paraphrasing here), it's not the racist gangs that are the biggest problem, it's the silent racism that goes on in everyday life. It's what XOV calls "living room prejudice" & "the anonymous online hatred". This of course expands into many other situations, but I'm sure you know what he is talking about here. "Ku Klux Klan" is meant to bring this elephant in the room to the forefront and is doing so in a pretty impactful way because this song really hits deep.
