Today, we're here to confirm that the hype is legitimate. With their second single, "Sophie K", the Florida duo has secured themselves as a primary focus on our radar of up-andcoming electro-pop acts, so make sure you take the chance to hop on board early with this effort of theirs, because X priest X is seriously the real deal. "Sophie K" is pretty damn close to electro-pop perfection; a surplus of synth layers, a totally original chorus, absolutely addictive vocals, and fresh percussion blend together to create a seamless offering. In the rapidly expanding universe of electro-pop, quality prevails as the most important trait within the particular genre (as it does with most others), and X priest X have now provided two consecutive songs that are, in essence, flawless. As we previously stated, now is the best time to begin your obsession with the two individuals, so be sure to keep an eye out for their first EP, Samurai, debuting April 15th through Emotion.
