X ARI is a solo project from Melbourne-based singer-songwriter and producer Jess Fairfax, and with her latest track, "Float Away", she's showing expertise in all measures described. The track was released a month ago, it looks like, but it's only managed to receive a small percentage of the listens it deserves, and, because of its distinctive, soulful, and smooth feel, we're here to give it a little more shine. We certainly hope to see more material from her soon based on the quality that she's expressed, but, even if her endeavors take her away from music for a bit (she's into radio as well), we're glad that she's dropped off this emerald here.
