Wyclef Jean has been a very active ambassador for Haiti recently by using his musical clout to bring much needed attention to the situation in Haiti after the recent earthquake. In August of 2010 he ran for the Haitian presidency but was unfortunately denied due to complications of the requirements to live in Haiti for at least 5 years. It's a damn shame because I am sure he stood a real chance to get elected. This EP garners Wyclef's motivation and spirit behind his desires to make a real change for his homeland. Just because Wyclef was denied the chance to run for president the man will continue to make a change through awareness and educating us on the real face of Haiti and not let us get our info from biased media outlets.
