A pop smash like Woodes' "Run For It" does not come often, and, despite releasing the track only a few months ago, the Melbourne artist has already worked the track into a glistening, dreamy, acoustic rendition that we are digging and surely featuring here. Fittingly referred to as the "Night Version" of "Run For It," Woodes brings the track into a lullaby-like state. Last time we covered this song, we noted that it took us to a place of empowerment and resiliency, and, turning that on its head, Woodes brings both a sweet and disquieting flair to this updated version. Though it's likely challenging to reinvent a song you've already written and released, Woodes does it effortlessly, and we are happy to be able to premiere it today.
