The year is already rolling to a promising start for Australian songstress WILSN, who, with slick new single "Over Me", is bringing back one of the most authentic nu-soul sounds we've grown familiar with in recent times. Last year with her Don't Give It Up EP, we really knew she was on to something, and now she's repeated that appeal with one of her grooviest offerings to date. With a plethora of guitar plucks, jazz injections, and hip percussion behind her, WILSN again exposes her melodic prowess, and what soul-blues sound she creates through it all is one we know we'll never grow tired of. "Over Me" is planned for release March 5 in Melbourne, and it'll come before a number of upcoming shows (most notably, SXSW) the talent will embark on as she continues her journey toward widespread musical success.
