William Onyeabor's "Atomic Bomb" was originally released in 1978, so chances are pretty good that you've never heard it before. It's no worries, though, because you don't need to go visit the original with Hot Chip's refurnishing of the classic track. In fact, Hot Chip is one of the many bands that will be covering William Onyeabor on the new remix/cover project, WHAT?! - William Onyeabor Remixed, that's dropping on Record Store Day in collaboration with Moog. Providing remixes alongside Hot Chip will be JD Twitch (Optimo), Daphni, Joakim, Justin Strauss, The Vaccines, Scientist, and many others. Of course, we haven't heard the other offerings, but based on this Hot Chip cover and how much we're enjoying it, it's safe to assume that none of the others are going to surpass this one.
