It is with great prowess that the music of the younger generations churns forward. We’ve recently been attuned to a number of teenagers that have simply been blowing up within the musical sphere, and William Joseph Cook is making it blatant that he ought to be mentioned whenever they're brought up. He’s the epitome of why teens can be so, so talented at putting out music, and, when we first heard him with “Streets of Paris,” a lighthearted indie-rock number that's been flowing constantly through our summer lists since its release a few months back, we knew we were dealing with something pretty special indeed. His vocals glow right through the acoustic undertone he’s mastered alongside producer Hugh Worksett, and it’s important to note that here again he’s authored the lyrics on his own.
