There's a certain attractiveness that comes with Swedish bands, and with Gothenburg-based newcomers Wildhart, we've our shining example, as their debut,"Stuck in a second", shows they've a leg up on the rest of the world when it comes to electronic-pop. With "Stuck in a second" being the only track they've released thus far, we have to say we're impressed with what we're hearing here. The track starts out like any other familiar-sounding electronic-pop track, but as it unwinds, the lead vocalist takes over, with Ylva Holmdahl's wielding her wailing vocals through the mix. From the particular point Ylva presents herself on the track, you'll be tempted to think that the effort repeats itself, but it doesn't—at all. In fact, towards the end, things calm back down, and the last half of the track turns into what could be considered a completely different song (it's our favourite part). It's quite the contrasting element, and though the overarching effort is the only one of the act's we have to analyze, with what they've put forth in it, we suspect they'll be a band worth keeping ears on going forward.
