We discovered London-based WILDES just a couple months back through her debut single, "BARE". Its traditional, yet powerful sound created a haunting, captivating mood we enjoyed listening to quite a bit. The track has accumulated over 100,000 listens on SoundCloud, and her success has made quite the first impression on many of us. She's now returning with a new single entitled "Illuminate" today, and its various components reaffirm the great potential she has. It's evident that her newest effort has many similarities to the previous one, though that's certainly no bad thing. Everything from the dark, minimal production, to the stunning vocals are in equal, if not better state, and although her sound is not exactly a novel one, her delicate touch is able to produce some emotional, stripped-down vibes. We're fans, and we're expecting her to keep up her good start with whatever material she has ahead.
