Covering WILDE since their online inception has been easy, because everything they've dropped thus far has been substantial and without a lack of quality of any kind. Today, they've released their first-ever original track, "Flashlight", and, just like their string of covers preceding it, the single is right on par in terms of harboring an enjoyable sound. Giselle Mapp's vocals take center stage as per usual on the effort, but it's the light, airy production from the other two members of WILDE, Brandon Merenick and Olutobi "Nyra" Akinwumi, that takes the track into its lauded dream-like heights. The trio has a debut EP on the way titled the same as the track here, and you're going to want to mind it well if it's anything resembling this lead track from it.
