We’ve had our eyes on WENS for the better part of the year now, and our investment of time has been paying dividends with a steady stream of R&B-tinged pop singles through 2017. The trend continues today with “Life”, the fifth single from the terrific emerging act, and, similar to previous releases, there’s a fair bit to unpack when it comes to the composition of the release. Its distinct harmonies and modulated vocals bleed into the production that at times seems anxious, yet there’s a certain comfort in the chaos, for sure. It's a comfort that WENS addresses in "Life"—one that comes from being fiercely unapologetic about being different—a very noble goal.
