No one in their right mind can accuse Kit Pop of being lazy. This ambitious Perth beat master has toured Australian festival circuits, produced for hip-hop artists and rappers, founded his own record company, released the ever popular #EATS and #TREATS mixtape series with ex-label mate Ta-ku, and even became an artist in his own right with the Hillydilly featured EP Seams. Well, he has somehow found space in his cap for another feather with his impressive take on "Rock U Tonite". Kit Pop pulls the reins in on the Wave Racer original, overlooking the sprightly synths in favour of darker bass elements. The end result is a meticulous and gratifying example of a young producer who knows exactly what he is doing.
