Oakland-based rock band Waterstrider is back with an exceptionally catchy and sunshine-filled bit of indie-rock called "Nowhere Now". The track is decorated with tropical percussion grooves, minimalist guitar riffs, and soaring vocal lines courtesy of singer Nate Salman, and these all work simultaneously to provide wistful, energetic, and ear-catching melodies and riffs all wrapped into a warm and romantic sound. "Nowhere Now" is easily one of Waterstrider's best efforts to date, and considering the fact that they already produce top-notch music with consistency, this is surely a song that you won't want to ignore. The guys are preparing to release their extremely promising debut album, also titled Nowhere Now, on April 6, so consider pre-ordering the LP if their effort here is catching on to you.
