When two different musical perspectives come together from two talented individuals, there's almost no way the end result is not going to be great. In the case of the New Zealand pair, Watercolours (vocalist) & Boycrush (producer), both come from a different background, covering genres that are close in proximity, but are not quite the same. Watercolours is more contemporary indie-pop, whilst Boycrush's music is more electro-pop driven, and "Soft Teeth" is the result of these two coming together and meeting in the middle. The outcome is a nice amalgamation of the two artists that ends up in what you could consider experimental territories. Those guitar plucks at the beginning will have you hooked instantly, too. "Soft Teeth" can be found on an split 7" single that's being released via Bandcamp.
