Thankfully, Belgian trio VUURWERK are here to break through any apathetic notions with their incredible new Climb X-featured single, “G.R.I.P.” Textually rich, we wade through the dense and hypnotic construct of synths and samples, propelled forth by a kinetic 2-Step beat. As we venture, wafts of Berlin techno and UK garage appear, and yet, what VUURWERK has presented us is assuredly their own concoction: a coalescing of dark, brooding, and grime sounds.
