Vök may not haven been showcasing their talents at SXSW, but that doesn't mean the Icelandic duo is not well on its way to international success. With their debut, "Before", still retaining its relevance well into 2014, Vök is now looking to their new single, "Tension", to set the tone as far as what to expect moving forward. As the title suggests here, Margrét Rán Magnúsdóttir and Andri Már Enoksson are here to exemplify the semantics suggested with a slightly disjointed affair that tugs against the status quo with jarring guitars, atmospheric synths, and riveting vocals that stretch out the desired emotions here. So who needs to attend premiere festivals when you can relax in your home country and create buzz off of amazing tracks like this? Certainly not Vök. Listen to "Tension" below.
