"Violents" is a musical project by Springfield, Missouri producer and writer Jeremy Larson, and from the looks of things on his website, he's mostly a freelancing artist who applies his trade producing, writing, and playing for others. With Violents, however, he's planning to release a series of EPs with different vocalists that features his production. Red Lights is his second of that series, and along with him for the artistic ride is the absolutely gorgeous vocalist, Annie Williams, a current Nashville resident. Red Lights only features four tracks, but within them is an albums' worth of quality. With the immensely emotional vocals of Annie's set alongside the strings and incredible piano chord progressions of Jeremy's, this EP is a steady, consistently good listen that's sure to captivate. Red Lights is available to purchase on iTunes along with their first EP together, Blush, but if you wish to hear them both, you can do so on SoundCloud. Also, the third Violents EP, Two Animals, is on the way, and it features the vocals of Olga Yagolnikov. You can pre-order that on iTunes now (it's out February 10).
