Vinyl Thief is a four-piece band from Nashville that seems to be having a breakout year with half a dozen songs released (remixes and originals) prior to what they are sharing with today. Their brand-new single, "Healing", squeezes in sleek electronic sensibilities to the traditional indie sound, similar to what we see from their previous efforts, and we're digging it a lot. We can definitely see why this cut was next in line to build up to their debut EP, for its smooth synths, lush vocals, and the unique blend of alternative and R&B represent the group's sound well. Various other elements like repeating basslines and a commanding falsetto add even more refreshing, creative touches to the mix. Vinyl Thief's debut body of work, Touch, will be released July 8, so get familiar with their latest track here below, and be on the lookout for the project when it comes out. We're sure there will be more singles to enjoy from it before.
