Vic Mensa's latest, Kaytranada-backed single, "Wimme Nah", should be still fresh in your rotation (it's only been out for three weeks, and it's a banger), but if you're looking for another angle on the track, look to Waldo and Sango's recent remix, as their iconic bass-heavy brand of hip-hop has just hit the market in the form of an interpretation of the original. As far as remixes go, it's rare to see a rapper and producer together offer up a remix, but since the two are such fervent frequent collaborators, this reworking of sorts is in no way a surprise to anyone who has been following along with their music the past couple of years. Within the track itself, Sango largely leaves the production in its initial shape (besides side-chaining copious amounts of bass), and Waldo only drops one verse at the beginning, but still, it's a remix that lovers of the original and the two "new" artists are going to want to check out. It's extremely unusual in the sense that only the first half of the effort is tampered with (the second half reverts back completely to the original), but it's banging nonetheless, and easily worth a listen.
