Vic Mensa has been making some huge moves as of late, and rather than seeing his rise pushed through false hype, the Chicago-based, SaveMoney rapper has been letting his music speak for itself. It was the genre-bending, house-infused jam, "Down On My Luck", that really kicked everything off for the emcee in 2014, but now adding to his buzz is the booming, punchy, lose-your-shit-anthem, "Wimme Nah", that features prolific production from Kaytranada. "Wimme Nah" is not a continuation of the dance-friendly vibes of "Down On My Luck" whatsoever, and we're loving the difference of sounds employed between the two, because there's nothing better than having diversity, and what we're hearing here is another reason why many are calling Vic Mensa to be rap's next big artist.
