Vic Mensa is not your typical kind of rapper who stays in one lane. Last years' dance anthem, "Down On My Luck", was proof that he could drop an electronic-pop banger that had tons of crossover appeal, and, lately, the SAVEMONEY rapper has been all about hard-hitting rap bangers ("No Chill" and "U Mad" exemplify this). Today, we see Vic flipping the script again as he goes from singing to laid-back rapping with his cover of Future's "Codeine Crazy". It's another fine testament to the artist's never-ending creativity and appeal.
