We were introduced to the euphonic sounds of VÉRITÉ just a few months ago with her stunning debut track, "Heartbeat", but, alas, the gem was unfortunately removed from SoundCloud, and, as a result, swept off the face of the internet. Ever since then, we've been eagerly anticipating more material from the NY-based songstress, and today, the suspense is finally broken with the release of her newest song, "Strange Enough". It's very easy to falter when creating pop music; many artists can't help sounding too bubble-gum or cliche, but it's very clear that VÉRITÉ has intentions of creating nothing but genuine, emotive music. Deep synths and subtle percussion constitute the instrumental during her verses, but in the chorus, a massive wave of oscillating synths and electronic melodies crash intensely upon the track. Of course, the entire piece is graced by VÉRITÉ's pristine vocals, which shine especially in the hook. After her first release, we were curious to see where VÉRITÉ's sound would progress next, but after a few listens to "Strange Enough", it's very clear that the songstress has an excellent vision for her sound, and we really can't wait to hear more from it, perhaps in the form of a longer body of work.
