VEDAS is the musical cohesion of Alex Lee and Andrew Monborne, both of whom hail from Washington, D.C. The individuals proclaim themselves to be purveyors of "shadow pop", a description that, upon experiencing this effort, you'd agree is more than applicable. Now, we say "experience" since "Mis Rajh" cannot merely be listened to in one passing; to do so would rob oneself of savouring the subtle complexities that forge this astounding release. The brooding arrangements and faint percussion create a sombre hue, draped over a faultless falsetto that lingers on the palette long after each delicate note has passed. It's a truly remarkable offering from these young artists, and we look forward to their upcoming EP which is slated for release April 15th.
