If you owned a pair of ears and frequented music blogs back in September of last year, then you would have no doubt picked up on the breaking debut, "Cry No More", from UK's Vaults. Since their initial offering and the buzz that followed, though, it's been crickets, and still to this day we've been given no information on the group. But perhaps it's now time to lift the veil on Vaults, as we learn of their new deal with National Anthem, as well as the release of their brand-new single, "Premonitions", that's set for release on June 9th. Through a filter of bass-heavy, unsettling, and brooding electronic, we see the light and dark balance come into play here, as the beautiful lead vocals and string sections juxtapose the electronic backbone, giving rise to music that matches our everyday inhibitions. As far as matching their debut goes, there's no question that "Premonitions" equals its integrity. So, as you used your ears last year to understand their potential, trust them once again, and realize this band is well on their way to a breakout year.
