In our last post about Cleindl, we touched on the producer's creative spurts that always seem to culminate in a truly great work every couple of months, and how we didn't mind the "absences" as a result. Well, because the required batch of weeks have passed since that last effort of his came to light, it's time we see another come to the surface, and a remix of Vanessa Elisha's "Ocean" has indeed cropped up, much to our delight. It's actually been a year since the Tokyo-native has released a remix (Ciara's "Body Party" was his last rework), but it doesn't sound at all like he's missed a beat (sorry) with the supplementary side of the sonic spectrum. Indeed, Vanessa's enchanting tone works well inside Cleindl's sleek and ever-blossoming electronic bits, aided by synths galore and bass bumps to boot, but don't for a second think that Cleindl went the overpowering route with his additions. He's allowed Elisha to rightfully shine throughout, and he's done his best to compliment her sexy style with some sonic pzazz of his own. It's hard to argue against the balance of electronic and R&B energies that the track exudes, and we've each artist to thank handsomely for that.
