Valerie Broussard is a Philadelphia-raised chanteuse who, after spending her formative musical years in the UK, has now returned stateside with her captivating sound in tow. She teased her musical potential last year with a short string of singles, but now with the release of her latest track, “A Little Wicked”, it has become clear that Valerie’s talent cannot be contained. We were hooked from the opening bars of Valerie’s sultry serenade on the track, and we remained gripped as her soulful, slightly nefarious vocals cut through the dark and haunting composition alongside it. The sound, overall, is one that has already caught the attention of at least one music supervisor, as her track here will be featured on an upcoming episode of Lucifer on Fox, but it's worth paying attention to coming up, too, as a bigger, debut body of work of hers looms.
