Having etched out quite a recognizable sound in the electronic scene, frequenter on the site TAPES is known more for his intricate sample-heavy pieces, but today, he exhibits his ability to work with vocal-led efforts, revamping Vacationer's year-old track, "Go Anywhere". While pitch-shifting has remained a consistent staple of TAPES' production, he's a bit more circumspect when dealing with Kenny Vasoli 's vocals, applying those touches only during the heavily layered, buoyant drops. He employs glassy percussion, sultry synths, and memorable see-sawing drums, too, and all of them in tandem give a laid-back, coastal ambiance throughout.
