& is a side project from The Neighbourhood's Jesse Rutherford that we've had our eye on for some time now, and with the artistic expression the vocalist has been able to push in his tracks, we wouldn't be surprised to see this project continue. Today brings another release, "Vacation", that Rutherford has to share, and it's again bearing an almost trap-like vibe. It's pretty slick how his drawn-out segments from The Neighbourhood's efforts lead into it, too, as when his speedier verses fade to the track's more mellow bits, it's his vocals that really send the track over the top. This is one you'll definitely want to listen to, and, as we stated above, we foresee Jesse continuing with these releases as his other act continues to churn out work behind the scenes.
