Insight Music, a digital label incorporating "chilled, ambient, electronica, and other difficult-to-classify sounds", has been blessing the internet with some seriously, seriously sweet downtempo tunes over the past several months. They've four volumes of work currently out on top of several other artist-specific releases, and each have brought with them some utterly relaxing sounds. "Serenity" here is great proof of that. The lead track of the aforementioned fourth body of tracks, the glossy electronic of "Serenity" by producer Vacant from London, is the best of the bunch, and it's receiving a share here as a result. Within the effort, we hear some well-placed bass, washed-out synths and vocal samples, and an overall sense of euphoria that only the chillwave genre it champions can represent. It's calm but cool, "Serenity" is, and it's the quintessential track for those of you instrumental heads that like to listen to something chill.
