The opening lyric to Uppermost's latest single sets the tone for the track's entire four-minute duration, and on the track, we're treated to a rich artistic pairing inspired and passion-infused. The Parisian electronic outfit's "Blame It On Love" features the deeply soulful and timeless vocals of 23-year-old British singer-songwriter Jacob Banks, who's had the experience of supporting big names like Emeli Sande in the past and is working with a slew of other mega-talented UK acts at the moment. Uppermost constructs a steadily pulsing trip-hop beat that sets the stage for Banks, and he's able to really brings his raspy vocal prowess to the forefront as a result. Uppermost's New Moon EP will be released May 25, and it may prove to be just the body of work that paves the way for the producer to make his waves in the States.
