There are a lot of great producers out there who have experimented with different blends of indie, electronic, and hip-hop music, but nobody has yet quite achieved the amount of bump and edge that UNO has with his debut single, “InnerVisions”; it's got one hell of a rolling flow, and some 70’s soul-inspired vocal samples just for good measure. The Sydney producer doesn’t delve too deep into the annals of funk music for inspiration, but if there was ever a track which captured that ever-elusive “groove,” than this is it. UNO is just one of many brave new artists who are taking production techniques to the next level, but his music is more than just technical expertise. His work has texture, and it’s filled with a self-assured personality that will have you convinced you’re listening to a classic in the making.
