As we go through countless artists and tracks on a daily basis, coming across inventive and creative music is always a challenge. However, when we discover acts like UNNO, all the time and effort pays off. The French Trio just released their EP about a month ago, and its raw, spacey qualities radiate what originality and endless potential they have. It'd be quite a hassle to tag their sound with a specific genre, because what they have to offer here on this body of work is something we've never been privy to before. Bursts of heavy synths, deep, rapid drum beats, and other miscellaneous electronic sounds come together to create a minimal, yet hard-hitting vibe. To go with this impressive production are vocals that are airy but powerful and fit the overall vibe superbly. The occasional rap features we see in the tracks are quite refreshing and top-notch as well, providing for an interesting song structure. Our favorite cuts in this debut work are "Walls" and "The Miles", but we urge you to check out the rest of the cuts as well. With the approach they are taking, they are bound to turn some heads.
