Just when we thought that French producer 20syl was getting a tiny bit repetitive, (not that that'd be a horrible thing given the quality nature of his sound), he's decided to hit us with an absolute banger of a remix completely out of the blue. The sonic source material he's reworked happens to be Unknown Mortal Orchestra's latest hit, "Multi-Love", and, quite simply, what he's done has turned the piece into an electronic masterpiece—really demonstrating why 20syl is one of the best producers around. How 20syl twists, bends, and pulls apart synths on a dime, how he layers and varies percussion, and how he masterfully chops and alters vocals simply stuns us, and even with all his alterations, the track he's here dissected still flows smoothly as can be. We're well beyond the point of surprise with all of the Frenchman's work, but this is truly one of the very best that we've heard from him in a while, so be absolutely sure to give it a good listen when you're ready to pay it some close attention.
