If you've been following the underground side of hip-hop for the past decade or so, then you're probably aware of the talent locked behind what could be called a supergroup in underground terms - MCs Red Pill and Verbal Kent along with producer Apollo Brown are Ugly Heroes, one of the most introspective and talented groups you'll ever hear. Their self-titled album dropped back in May, but new cut "Me" is a non-album bonus track released today, and it absolutely blows my mind this track was left on the cutting room floor. Honestly, this is the DEFINITION of what undergroup hip-hop is supposed to be - real, with a brutal honesty that will make you take a second look at the choices you've made, and a damn good listen.
