Without the easy comparisons to Kavinsky, Bordeaux's Tusk makes some fascinating & head-turning electronic music. Sure, his music does not fall under the easy-listening categories, but where it does fall under is the blow-you-away categories. Right from the get-go, "Scrolling Map" explodes into your ear, wasting no time in sucking you into a place that is dark and foreboding, but at the same time, very intriguing. If you're one of those people who has trouble waking up in the morning, set "Scrolling Map" as your alarm, and you should be good to go.
